Yamada Denki adopts the cloud-based product master "Lazuli PDP" for its e-commerce site "Yamada Webcom"
Press Release
~Improving customer experience by rapidly enriching EC site product information through AI-powered automatic collection of product information~
Lazuli Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Seigen Hagiwara; hereinafter Lazuli) develops and provides Lazuli PDP, a cloud-based SaaS product master that utilizes AI technology, which has been adopted by Yamada Denki Co., Ltd. (Head office: Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Yoshinori Ueno) for the EC site Yamada Webcom as an AI solution to organize and enrich product information. Operation began in April 2024.

Yamada Denki operates multiple EC sites, including its own EC site Yamada Webcom, Rakuten Ichiba, and Yahoo! Shopping. Yamada Holdings expects total EC site sales to increase by about 10% in fiscal 2025, showing that its EC sites are growing. In particular, for Yamada Webcom, which was revamped in April 2023, the company has focused on reforms to improve convenience, and by introducing AI, it has increased its purchase rate.
At Yamada Webcom, from the beginning, the time and effort required for data collection to increase the number of product listings and the amount of information on product pages was a burden. In the future, in order to handle more products, it was necessary to mechanically enrich product information, so the company decided to introduce Lazuli PDP.
By introducing Lazuli PDP, it becomes possible to use Lazuli's vast, independently collected product database, organize the data into the appropriate format, and then reflect it on the EC site, making it possible to efficiently build a highly convenient EC site. Until now, at Yamada Webcom, staff individually researched and obtained product information, but by introducing Lazuli PDP, this work can be automated, greatly reducing the workload.
