Lazuli Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Seigen Hagiwara, hereinafter “Lazuli”), which provides “Lazuli PDP (Product Data Platform)” as a SaaS (Software as a Service) that uses AI to enable fast, highly accurate maintenance of product master data, has significantly updated the features of “Lazuli PDP” since February 2023 and newly launched two functions.
“Lazuli PDP” is a SaaS that integrates product information scattered across multiple databases, generates product data such as product descriptions, meta tags, and hashtags needed for data integration, and automatically converts formats to match each integration tool. It uses AI to deduplicate diverse product master data held by manufacturers, retailers, pharmaceutical companies, and others, and provides it to users after adding meta tags and estimating categories. With this feature update, generative AI now makes “Hashtag Generation” and “Color Estimation” available.


The newly added “Hashtag Generation” feature generates the optimal tags according to specified parameters. By checking the required items while envisioning the intended use of the hashtags you want to generate, ideal hashtags are created. E-commerce site operators can use it as a keyword to enrich product information without effort and improve the browsing rate on their e-commerce sites.


Also, with the expanded “Color Estimation” feature, it becomes possible to infer the relevant product’s color category from the product name, product description, and product specifications for products that do not have color information. This is achieved by vectorizing the natural language inputs (product name, product description, product specifications) and applying our proprietary AI model. The estimated colors are defined by Japanese names and color codes, making them useful for data filtering and for expression on the web.
Lazuli has particularly strong expertise in AI, especially natural language processing. With this feature update, we aim to improve end-user shopping experiences in product search and increase site browsing engagement, while also working through “Lazuli PDP” to solve social issues related to the distribution of product information.
With this feature update, Lazuli aims to further expand the adoption of “Lazuli PDP” among retailers operating e-commerce businesses, as well as manufacturers and D2C operators.

“Lazuli PDP,” developed and provided by Lazuli, is a product data platform that centrally manages product information scattered across multiple external databases and transforms and generates data into an easy-to-use format according to how the data will be used. It uses AI to deduplicate diverse product master data held by manufacturers, retailers, pharmaceutical companies, and others, and adds meta tags and associations based on efficacy and product characteristics. This information is stored in Lazuli’s product information database and provided to users as “Lazuli PDP.”
