Lazuli Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Seigen Hagiwara; hereinafter “Lazuli”), which develops and provides “Lazuli PDP,” a cloud-based master data product for SaaS that leverages AI technology, has been adopted by RoomClip Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Masahiko Takashige; hereinafter “RoomClip”) as an AI solution for organizing and enriching product information on the e-commerce site it operates. Full-scale operations began in July 2022.

On “RoomClip Shopping,” approximately 100,000 products are introduced alongside photos posted by users, and they can actually be purchased. To help users make purchasing decisions, detailed information on product size, color, and differences from similar items is needed, so the company decided to introduce “Lazuli PDP” with the goal of providing highly accurate and comprehensive product information.
“Lazuli PDP” automatically collects product information publicly available online and uses AI-based natural language processing to consolidate duplicate product information. In the future, it also plans to add meta tags and create links based on product characteristics, improving searchability within “RoomClip Shopping” and creating serendipitous encounters with products.
At RoomClip, by combining photos posted by actual users with information organized and enriched by “Lazuli PDP,” we aim to build a platform that enhances customer experience value and increases profits. At Lazuli, we will continue working to further develop the product by promoting the maintenance and utilization of product information on “RoomClip Shopping.”
