Lazuli Inc. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Seigen Hagiwara; hereinafter Lazuli), the AI-powered SaaS cloud product master "Lazuli PDP" developed and provided by Lazuli, was adopted in July 2022 by Beisia Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Takahito Aiki; hereinafter, Beisia) for its online shop and online supermarket, and after about three months, significant implementation effects were confirmed.

At the "Beisia Net Shop," up to 7,000 items are available, from fresh food to daily necessities. However, unlike physical stores, users cannot actually pick up products to inspect them or compare them with similar items, so providing sufficient detailed product information and displaying it in an easy-to-understand way was essential to improving the customer experience. The conventional product information registration work required a heavy burden and a great deal of time, which was a major challenge in making the service easier for users to choose products and use. Against this backdrop, Beisia decided to introduce "Lazuli PDP" and began operation in July.

After three months, as effects following the introduction of "Lazuli PDP", three major results were confirmed in the online shop's focus area, "pet supplies": sales volume, sales amount, and product information registration time. First, sales volume increased by about seven times. In particular, for long-tail products, richer product and tag information contributed to the increase in sales volume. Sales amount also increased by about three times compared with 2021, when online shopping grew due to stay-at-home demand amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, while the necessary information had not previously been fully registered, the introduction of Lazuli PDP enriched the registered information and reduced the time required for registration by about 80%.

In response to these implementation effects, Beisia will further organize and enrich product information on its online shop and online supermarket, aiming to improve customer experience value. Going forward, Lazuli will promote the organization and utilization of Beisia's product information and work on further product development.
