Explaining the latest approach to customer understanding using “product tags (review tags)”

Lazuli Inc., which develops and provides the product data management solution “Lazuli PDP” leveraging AI technology and a proprietary database (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Seigen Hagiwara; hereinafter, Lazuli), will co-host with the Distribution Economics Institute Foundation (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Hirohiko Aoyama; hereinafter, the Distribution Economics Institute) a webinar on February 20 titled “The Cutting Edge of Data Utilization for Deepening Customer Understanding: The Potential of Product Tags Connecting Online and Offline,” which explains the latest methods for customer understanding using product tags (review tags).

Since 2024, Lazuli has been conducting joint research with the Distribution Economics Institute aimed at improving literacy for consumer-origin product understanding in the distribution industry. In this webinar, we will also introduce the results of that research. First, Yasuhiro Yamazaki, Executive Director of the Distribution Economics Institute, and Shoji Misaka, Senior Researcher, will explain the research content on data utilization in online/offline contexts, including the current challenges facing the distribution industry. After that, Seigen Hagiwara, Representative Director of Lazuli, will share examples of product tag generation and utilization that will be key to future data utilization. By leveraging product tag organization and automatic generation mechanisms powered by AI and machine learning technologies, we will introduce, with concrete examples, how companies can make data practical and actionable.

Through this webinar, you can gain insights into deepening customer understanding through data utilization and into new approaches enabled by organizing product data.
