~We will welcome Mr. Shimakawa, Executive Officer of Nestlé Japan, and Mr. Yokota, Representative Director of Classmethod, to introduce the generative AI utilization strategies of the featured companies and examples from Japan and abroad~

Lazuli Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Seigen Hagiwara; hereinafter referred to as Lazuli), which develops and provides the cloud-based product master "Lazuli PDP" using AI technology, will hold a seminar co-hosted with Classmethod, Inc. (Head office location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Satoshi Yokota; hereinafter Classmethod), which provides technical support for enterprises in fields such as AWS, data analytics, mobile, IoT, and AI/machine learning. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, July 30, for the retail and manufacturing industries, under the title: "Not just another trend. Generative AI utilization strategies in the retail and manufacturing industries." It will be conducted in three parts.

Generative AI, as the rise of cutting-edge technology, is gaining attention as a key to improving productivity and quality, and is having a major impact on business model transformation and corporate operational improvement. In this context, the seminar co-hosted by Lazuli and Classmethod is aimed at those responsible for marketing, e-commerce, and DX promotion in the retail and manufacturing industries, as well as those involved in day-to-day operations. It will explain, based on advanced examples from Japan and abroad, how generative AI can be used to improve productivity and quality, how it can be integrated into their own businesses, and how generative AI will transform the industry in the future.

This seminar consists of three parts. In Part 1, titled "Generative AI Trends and the Future It Brings to the Distribution Industry," Satoshi Yokota, Representative Director of Classmethod, will give a talk. In Part 2, Motoi Shimakawa, Executive Officer of Nestlé Japan, will take the stage and introduce Nestlé Japan's generative AI utilization strategy, including examples from Japan and abroad. In Part 3, under the theme "AI utilization trends seen from examples of overseas companies," Takashi Okutani, Co-CEO/Director of Customer Time, Inc., who is also an advisor to Lazuli, and Seigen Hagiwara, representative of Lazuli, will hold a dialogue.
