On July 22, 2024, Lazuli Inc. and BrainPad Co., Ltd. held a study session and networking event themed “Lazuli PDP” as part of their strategic partnership. The event was held at BrainPad’s Roppongi office and was conducted in a hybrid format, both in person and online, with many attendees from both companies.

Background of the Study Session

Prior to this study session, BrainPad and Lazuli, both of which support data utilization to improve customer experience value, decided to strengthen their business partnership with the aim of creating seamless customer experiences and advancing analysis through linking "customer data" and "product data". This study session was held as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding, which serves as the foundation for this collaboration.

Introduction to Lazuli PDP and Discussion

The event began with greetings from BrainPad CEO Mr. Sekiguchi and Lazuli CEO Hagiwara, followed by an introduction to "Lazuli PDP" by our Solution Engineer, Shibata. In the product introduction, we talked about the types of data handled by Lazuli's product DB and how AI technology is used to integrate and generate that data. In the Q&A session, participants asked many specific and technical questions directly related to practical work, and active discussions unfolded about data utilization needs and use cases in the field.

At the networking reception that followed, many opinions were exchanged about each other's business understanding and the potential for collaboration. Concrete exchanges such as "How can Lazuli's data be used for demand forecasting for products?" and "How can we solve the challenges in data matching and consolidation work?" also took place, allowing participants to experience the potential of Lazuli PDP.

Participants shared many hopeful comments, such as, "I got the impression that it could be used in analysis projects using purchase history," and "If matching could be advanced by assigning feature tags and generating personas, I feel it would expand the customers we can propose to."

Summary

Through this event, we reaffirmed the value provided by Lazuli's product data platform, "Lazuli PDP," while also sensing the possibilities for collaboration and utilization with various types of data such as customer data. Lazuli PDP strongly supports companies' DX promotion by integrating data scattered across the organization and providing the necessary data so customers can purchase products safely and smoothly. Through collaboration with BrainPad and various other companies, we aim to co-create even greater innovation.
