Yamada Denki has adopted the cloud-based product master "Lazuli PDP" for its e-commerce site "Yamada Webcom."
~By leveraging AI for automatic collection of product information, we enhance the product information on e-commerce sites at high speed, realizing an improved customer experience value~
Lazuli Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shigenobu Hagiwara, hereinafter Lazuli) has developed and provided a cloud-based product master SaaS called "Lazuli PDP" that has been adopted as an AI solution to organize and enrich product information on the e-commerce site "Yamada Webcom" operated by Yamada Denki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, President: Yoshiki Ueno). It began operating in April 2024.

Yamada Denki operates multiple e-commerce sites, including its own e-commerce site "Yamada Webcom," as well as Rakuten Marketplace and Yahoo Shopping. Yamada Holdings anticipates a growth of about 10% in the overall sales of e-commerce sites for the fiscal year 2025, indicating that the e-commerce sector is expanding. In particular, the newly revamped "Yamada Webcom" launched in April 2023 has focused on reforms aimed at improving convenience, and by introducing AI, it has enhanced the purchase rate.
From the beginning, "Yamada Webcom" faced challenges with the time and effort required for data collection to increase the number of products listed and the amount of information on product pages. Moving forward, in order to handle more products, it was necessary to mechanically expand product information, which led to the decision to implement "Lazuli PDP."
The introduction of "Lazuli PDP" enables the use of Lazuli's independently collected vast product database, allowing for the organization of data into appropriate formats for reflection on the e-commerce site, thus efficiently constructing a highly convenient e-commerce site. Until now, product information for "Yamada Webcom" was obtained through individual investigations by the staff, but with the introduction of "Lazuli PDP," this work can be automated, significantly reducing the workload.
※ What is Lazuli PDP?
"Lazuli PDP," developed and provided by Lazuli, is a cloud service designed to manage product information scattered across multiple external databases collectively and to organize and link the data in a user-friendly manner. Using AI, it consolidates various product master data held by manufacturers and retailers, applying name consolidation based on product features, assigning meta tags, and creating associations. This information is made available to users through "Lazuli PDP."
